BG Hospitals are organised as a nonprofit organisation and in accordance with the principle of self-administration. This means that the BG Hospital Group is governed by representatives of employers and insured individuals.
Employers and insured individuals make up the members of the general committee as well as the executive board in equal number. The executive board is responsible for electing the Group's management. The general committee of BG Hospitals include the nine commercial employers’ liability insurance associations and nine public sector accident insurers. Our corporate parent company is the Holding, BG Kliniken – Klinikverbund der gesetzlichen Unfallversicherung gGmbH, based in Berlin.
Various business divisions within the Holding are responsible for the central services of our medical facilities and promote the BG Hospital Group’s development.
